Nexus – The hoppy connection between two worlds

It all starts with an encounter. Two origins, two personalities, two ways of telling the hop story, coming together into a single journey. Nexus is that connection: a NEIPA uniting the fruity power of Citra with the refined elegance of Nelson Sauvin. A beer built around one simple idea: when opposites meet, balance becomes explosive.

In the glass, it's an opaque, glowing blond with a generous, creamy texture, topped by a dense, lasting head. Its silky body coats the palate and makes the ideal playground for a hop duo as complementary as it is surprising.

Here, Citra and Nelson Sauvin create their own aromatic language.

On the nose, it's an instant tropical explosion: pink grapefruit, passion fruit, ripe mango and that elegant "white wine" signature that defines Nelson Sauvin. A first direct connection with the glass, intense and incredibly expressive.

On the palate, the journey continues. The attack is soft and round, before the hops take centre stage. Citra unfolds its citrus and mango notes, while Nelson Sauvin brings hints of Sauvignon grape and gooseberry. The whole thing swings between tropical indulgence, freshness and a light vinous tension. A generous beer, but never heavy, that naturally calls for the next sip.

Nexus is the beer for those who love unexpected connections and balances that aren't a given. A 6.5% NEIPA where two great hop profiles meet to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

Brewers' tip: Forget borders and let the hops make the connection. Best enjoyed well chilled, ideally in good company, because the best encounters are always the ones you share.

Frequently asked questions

Why pair Citra and Nelson Sauvin in Nexus?
They're two profiles that couldn't be more different: Citra pushes citrus and mango, Nelson Sauvin brings a white grape and gooseberry signature, almost winey. On its own, each would be one-dimensional. Together, they create a tension between tropical lusciousness and lively freshness — exactly what the name Nexus means: the point of connection.
What is Nelson Sauvin's 'white wine' taste?
Nelson Sauvin, grown in New Zealand, contains thiols — the same aromatic compounds found in the sauvignon blanc grape, hence its name. The result: white grape and gooseberry notes, with a light winey tension. It's a rare hop, hard to mistake for any other.
Is Nexus a bitter NEIPA?
No. Like any NEIPA, its hopping is concentrated outside the boil, which extracts aromas without creating bitterness. The attack is soft and round, carried by oats and wheat. What you pick up isn't bitterness but the winey tension of Nelson Sauvin — freshness, not harshness.
How long can you keep Nexus?
As short as possible. A NEIPA isn't made to age: the hop oils that carry the tropical aromas oxidise fast, and the beer loses what makes it special within a few months. Keep it upright in the fridge and drink it young — between 6 and 10 °C in a tulip glass.
