Redneck Juice – The big hoppy juice made in Idaho  

Picture yourself on the bank of an Idaho river, feet in the water, a rickety folding chair, the pickup parked not far off. No need for a clean shirt, happiness here comes down to two things: a fishing rod… and a big, juicy can. That’s exactly the spirit of Redneck Juice: a generous NEIPA, a tribute to good old Idaho 7, the hop we cherish as much as a redneck loves his faded cap. In the glass? A golden haze as thick as a morning in the Rockies.

We threw in an XXL dose of wheat to get that creamy body and that big, plump haze, worthy of the American juice bombs that made us fall in love with craft beer. Hop-wise, it’s a winning trio… in astronomical quantities: Idaho 7 as master of ceremonies, backed by Mosaic and supported by a solid base of Citra.

On the nose: a tropical explosion that would make a fruit salad look like a sad aperitif. Papaya, juicy apricot, bright orange, pink grapefruit: it’s all there, as if you’d bitten into a summer market. On the palate: softness and velvet. The tropical aromatics stomp in wearing cowboy boots, underlined by a resinous touch that brings just the right amount of “kick” to remind you of wild Idaho.

The finish is balanced by a gentle bitterness, so you can keep sipping without noticing the sun go down. Redneck Juice is our take on an American-style IPA: indulgent, honest, generous. A beer for enthusiasts and the curious alike, proving you can be a bit of a redneck… and totally refined when it comes to hops.

Brewers’ tip: crack one open, fire up the barbecue and let yourself get carried away. Because deep down, Idaho may be far away… but one sip is all it takes to feel right at home.
