An 8.2% Double NEIPA that'll make you roar with hops.

After Slow Focus and our koala under a massive dry hop, we're clearly shifting up a gear.
This time it's a polar bear in a red hoodie crashing the party… and let's just say he didn't come to hand out hugs.

For this Double NEIPA we went all in: a decadent amount of oats and a nice hot mash to build a massive juice machine, ultra silky and dangerously drinkable despite its 8.2%. ☁️🍻

But where the beast really shows its claws is in the dry hop.
We started with a solid dose of our Citra to lay down a plump tropical base. Then, as everyone knows by now, at Unseen we're completely in love with New Zealand hops!
So we threw in a frankly irresponsible amount of Riwaka, Motueka and Wakatu from Freestyle Hops, along with Riwaka Hop Kief and Motueka Hop Kief to finish the job properly.

👉 Dry hop rate: 25 g/L.
Yep. A hoppy claw swipe right to the jaw. 🐾

On the nose, tropical fruit comes charging in with fresh citrus and that indulgent roundness typical of big DIPAs that instantly reminds you of your favourite dessert… hopped-up version.

At the bear's first lick, it's pure velvet: freshly squeezed lemon, pink grapefruit and an avalanche of tropical fruit flood your palate.
All that softness ends on a light, elegant bitterness that keeps the beast perfectly balanced.

Frozen Rage is where wild power meets soft fur: a Double NEIPA built to satisfy your seriously big hop cravings. 🍻

Frequently asked questions

What is a Double NEIPA?
A Double NEIPA is a more powerful NEIPA: more malt, more hops, and more alcohol (typically 7.5 to 10%). Frozen Rage clocks in at 8.2% with a velvety body and intense hopping.
Is Frozen Rage stronger than Slow Focus?
Yes, it's her big sister: same juicy DNA, but boosted to 8.2% with an even more massive hop presence. The alcohol remains well-integrated by the beer's round body.
Does this beer contain gluten?
Yes, Frozen Rage is brewed with barley and wheat, so it contains gluten. The detailed ingredients are listed on this page.
At what temperature should I drink Frozen Rage?
Between 8 and 10 °C, in a tulip glass: the hoppy aromas and velvety body emerge without the alcohol dominating. Drink chilled.
